Your First Visit
You do not need a referral to use our services. When you visit us for the
first time, our primary concern is to see if we can help you. We will determine
if you have vertebral subluxation (nerve interference) creating interference
with your body’s ability to function at 100%, and how best to address that
problem.
When you arrive for your initial visit you will first be asked to provide us
with some information about your health history and the nature of your complaint
or the reason for your visit. We ask you to fill out the minimal amount of paperwork
possible. After you complete this, the doctor will spend some time talking with
you so that he will better understand your condition and be fully aware of any
other health concerns you may have and determine how chiropractic may be
beneficial to you.
If you are considering a visit and would like to fill out some of the paperwork
before your visit, please call us for an appointment and then click

Once Dr. Robichaud feels that he has a complete understanding of the history and
nature of your complaint, he will perform a thorough chiropractic examination to
help evaluate your condition and check for spinal subluxation. After the
examination, Dr. Robichaud will explain the diagnosis and will discuss whether
he feels chiropractic care is appropriate for you or not. At this point a
decision will be made by the doctor as to whether x-rays of your spine are
required prior to you undertaking care. Most of the time patients are x-rayed on
their first visit and if possible, a brief report of x-ray findings is given
along with the first adjustment. At your report of findings the doctor will
explain where he has found vertebral subluxations (nerve pressure areas) in your
spine and how serious your situation is. A plan of care will then be outlined
for you based on your individual needs and the stresses that you encounter in
your everyday life.
The types of services that we provide include spinal x-rays, specific
chiropractic adjustments, manual traction, and therapeutic exercises and
rehabilitation.
In our experience, most patients will notice a significant improvement
after two or three visits. If little or no improvement is seen within that time
frame, we will reassess your condition. Care plans are given based on an
individual basis.
Insurance and Payment Information
Many insurance providers have coverage and benefits which feature chiropractic.
Sometimes there’s coverage for an ‘office call’ which any licensed
provider can perform depending on the problem, but not per say for ‘Chiropractic’.
In our office we deal mostly with Blue
Cross and Green Shield.
We do not do direct billing. .
If you are coming to our office for a free consultation or are a new patient,
please call us and we’ll get your pertinent information and call your
insurance company. After we find out your coverage benefits we’ll either fax,
email, or mail you a hard copy. Or we’ll simply let you know on your 2nd
visit.
For patients who have little or no chiropractic insurance coverage, flexible
payment programs can be arranged.
We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, debit card, cash or
personal check.
